My Fassi 21st Birthday

I suppose if you’re reading this you want to know about my twenty first birthday fun. Well, the thing that I love about Morocco is that there really isn’t a very large party scene. (Yes, I said I love that fact—it’s beyond nice to be away from that) This is mostly because this is a [...]

Let’s not talk about how much I love Fez

Ok, so looking at Vonnie’s blog makes me look so pathetic. I’m really bad at this journaling thing (actually, though, I’ve been writing in my real journal a ton, which is not like me either. one out of two isn’t bad…)
Anyway, I love Fez. I have had amazing experiences since I’ve stepped off the train [...]

Henna

There [...]

Labass!

That is the way that you say hello and Im fine in moroccan Darija (dialect). The dialect is inrcredibly difficult, but every day Im getting better and better at it to the point where I was able to (unsuccesfuly) bargin for a scarf today! (i didnt actually buy it because the guy was asking too [...]

Just sad

So, I was actually productive day and I unpacked my last tub from Macon. Then, I started to pack for my semester in, what seemed, a logical and organized manner. I went through my packing list, and I put everything on my bed in groups, i.e. the clothes in one section, shoes in another, medicine [...]
